No cues as to her maiden name as no marriage record found

Their three children were baptised at St Peters in 1850s, all born in Soberton.
The 1861 census lists her at Hoe Farm with husband William and two children (Eleanor Ann and John). They owned 441 acres and employed a large number of domestic and farm servants. (Their eldest daughter was living with an Aunt)

She seems to have been well liked in the village, and when she died "suddenly" it made the local papers

Elizabeth married Dr William Blake (at St Peters), they had 9 children, and she died in 1924 in Herts
Eleanor never married, she trained and worked as a Nurse
